Christopher Mintz-Plasse

Born: 20 June 1989
Birthplace: Los Angeles, California
Best known as: McLovin from the movie Superbad
Comic actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse was still in high school when he landed the role of Fogell -- a.k.a. "McLovin" -- in the Seth Rogen comedy Superbad (2007). Although he had been involved in student theater, Mintz-Plasse had no professional acting experience prior to the scene-stealing turn that launched his career. He toured the world and the talk show circuit to promote Superbad, appeared in some short films online and landed more work in movies, including an animated feature based on the children's book How to Train Your Dragon (by Cressida Cowell) and the Paul Rudd comedy Role Models (2008).

Career
Mintz-Plasse acted in drama classes from the first grade until his senior year in high school, before appearing in Superbad . He was cast in the role of Fogell, after auditioning with two high school friends. He had no professional head shots before the audition and just took a head shot with his camera phone. His mother was required by law to be on set while filming his sex scene in Superbad because he was only 17 years old at the time of filming.
Mintz-Plasse next appeared opposite Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott in the David Wain film Role Models, and performed voiceover work for the animated film Howto Train Your Dragon.
In 2008, he had a cameo on Jimmry Kinumel Live, singing in the chorus during the segment "I'm Fucking Ben Affleck". He also appeared in Internet PSAs for voting and for Night of Too Many Stars, in a You Tube video known as the "Teabag Incident" (where he and his friends illustrate the dangers of teabagging), and presented the best hip-hop video with Slipknot at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.

In June 2009, he made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Bren.
In March 2010 he made an appearance on British football show Soccer AM. He was asked to pick a football team out of the 92 in the English football league to support forever, where he picked Torquay United.
In April 2010 Christopher has also starred in Kick Ass as the superhero Red Mist, AKA Chris D'Amico.
In May 2010 Christopher guest starred in an episode of Party Down as Kent, a friend of the character Roman.
